15 Days on the Road and Im Gonna Make It Home Tonight

Started off in Pennsylvania, went for 3 days orentation in Indiana, took a load to Wisconson, picked up a load there and took it to Texas, picked up a load for Conneticut and Massachusets, then a load from there to PA for my home time.
i saw houston, dallas, memphis, little rock, boston, and much more. havin a great time on the road, will post more tomorrow, just got home today and im enjoying some free time
**update, alright i had some good rest in. time to finish this post.
was a long trip, but i had fun out there. drove for over a week having fun before i ralized "holy shit im getting paid to do this! i forgot!!!"
Now, its time for you to leave the sterotypes at the door. truck stops are dingy disgusting and nasty. they are really really really nice. the showers are private bathrooms, toilet, sink, shower stall, mirror, kept extra clean and nice, privacy included with lock n key. the bathrooms in truckstops are also kept very nice, hell some are even nicer then my own bathroom at home! the 'greasy spoon buffet' is few and far between, yes they exsist but its not every place you go. the sit-down resturants in most of hte places i was at had really good food, well cooked, down home cookin. whilst others have fast food, however most of the ones i stoped at had a subway. others were burger king, wendys, and one had an arbys.
livin on the road aint that bad at all to be honest. i really enjoy it. also going thru the training period now with the company, at this point, is a formality. company training is to smooth out what the schools didnt teach you. well the school i attended is one of 11 accredited trucking schools in the nation. right now i am an "entry-level driver" however according to my instructor and several other drivers out there i shift, turn, and back the truck like a professional. so right now im already at the professional level.
so yeah thats the update for now, tomorrow im going to get a wireless broadband card for my laptop so when i go back out again i shoul dbe able to acess the internet from anywhere, rather then hope for a wifi hotspot or in this case wait until im home.
